• Uncovering the septic tank and distribution box

• Use of an excavator is necessary when the tank and D-box are deeper than 3'

• Contacting the town or city for as-built, water use, and pumping records

• Locating all wells and wetlands within proximity of the system

• Uploading the MassDEP Title 5 form to the Board of Health
