What Happens if your Septic System Fails a Title 5 Inspection?

How much does a Title 5 Inspection Cost?

  • Does your Septic Tank need to be pumped? Though not required in North Reading, some homeowners opt to have their septic tanks pumped. This generally costs from $300 - $400

  • Do you have Private Well Water? If your Septic System is located within 100’ of a private well, then a well water test will have to be performed. If so, we can take a water sample to the lab. The pricing as of 2025 is $130 for a well water test

  • What type of Septic System do you have? There are many different types of septic systems, and price can vary depending on the number of components required to be excavated.
